Upcoming conferences that Ohio TESOL members may be interested in attending/presenting.
The Ohio Foreign Language Association (OFLA) conference will be held April 8-10, 2010 at the Hyatt on Capitol Square in Columbus, Ohio. This year’s conference theme is “Forming Global Citizens: Opening Minds and Opening Doors.” Dr. Eileen Glisan, the new president of American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Language (ACTFL), will be the keynote speaker.
Information regarding OFLA can be found on the OFLA website: www.ofla-online.org.
Thanks to all who attended the 2009 Ohio TESOL Conference. Your continued involvement made the conference a big success! A special thanks to Dr. Shelley Wong, all the presenters, exhibitors, and conference organizers. Without them, there would be no conference.
If you attended please note that you can earn graduate credit.
Next year, our fall conference, will be held on November 12 and 13, 2010 at the Hyatt in downtown Columbus. Mark your calendar now! If you are interested in presenting at next year's conference keep an eye out for the Call for Papers in May with a deadline mid-June. More details to come.
