What if I want to pay with a PO?

It’s important to understand that purchase orders are more of a promise to pay, not the actual payment.  If your organization will be issuing a PO, we must follow the following steps.

Will we need to sign-up for sessions?

Yes. In early October (once you have paid and are registered), you will receive a google form that you will use to choose your sessions. Due to limited space, we recommend you complete your selections as quickly as possible.

Are there site visits this year?

Yes, but space is limited. Sign-up as early as you can.

What meals are included with conference registration?

Breakfast on both Friday and Saturday, as well as Friday lunch are included in your registration. If you would like to purchase a boxed lunch for Saturday, you will need to pre-order & pre-pay. Ohio TESOL will be subsidizing part of this meal. You will receive additional information in early October when you sign up for sessions.

What if I would like to be an exhibitor or sponsor for this year’s conference?

Why is there no “Friday Only” option?

Due to rising costs and limited space, we had to price the conference as one event. However, we did add a Saturday-only option for teachers who were unable to get Friday off of work.  

Is the Professional Learning Series included with conference registration?

The conference and the professional learning series are two separate products. The conference registration is used to fund the conference, while the “Tuesdays with Ohio TESOL” Professional Learning Series funds our operating budget. We work very hard to keep our costs as low as possible. The full-year cost is only $120 for members. That is approximately $5 per contact hour of professional development offered by experts from the field.

Can I still get a discount on a hotel room at the Renaissance?

Please be advised that the rooms are selling out quicker than in previous years. The Ohio TESOL Conference 2022 Block is $129.00 per night. What if I purchase conference registration but I am unable to attend?

You can transfer your conference purchase to another person up until 5 PM on November 4th. You must notify ohiotesol@gmail.com of the change. We are unable to process refunds.
