Ohio School Report Cards and English Learner Accountability \u2013 Request for Public Comment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ohio Department of Education is soliciting public comment on amendments to its Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) Plan. The amendments are proposed in response to report card reforms signed into law earlier this school year. Some of the changes have implications for Ohio\u2019s English language proficiency improvement measure (the baseline year, long-term goals, and the overall weight of the indicator).\u00a0Review the Department\u2019s announcement here<\/a>\u00a0and submit all comments to\u00a0accountability@education.ohio.gov<\/a>\u00a0by Wednesday, June 1st.
